Copenhagen-Nottingham Ear, Nose and Throat Dissection Course
We are happy to present 19th Copenhagen-Nottingham Ear, Nose and Throat Dissection Course organized in Copenhagen with faculty and participants from all over Europe. The course will extend to five days and will be divided into Head & Neck and Rhinology (15-17th June) and Otology (18-19th June) 2020. As something new, we will also offer training in Head & Neck Ultrasonography (13-14th June) as an optional course before the Head & Neck dissection.

The course will be held in collaboration with Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the Panum Institute, Faculty of Health Science, Copenhagen University and at Copenhagen University Hospital under the direction of professor Christian von Buchwald, MD, DMSc. and professor Anshul Sama MD, FRCS. The hands-on workshop using fresh frozen cadavers is focused on basic surgical approaches to Midle Ear Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery. The emphasis is on maximising dissection time with demonstration lead stepwise approach to surgery. The course will consist of lectures, demonstrations and dissections on frozen corpses. The workshop is suitable for Specialist Registrars pursuing higher surgical training in otorhinolaryngology. The Ultrasonography workshop will be held in collaboration with Copenhagen Academy for Medical Education and Simulation and have an international faculty teaching Head and Neck Ultrasonography and Interventional Ultrasonography.

The course fee for Head & Neck, Rhinology and Otology is 1350 EURO. The course fee for only Head & Neck and Rhinology is 850 EURO. The course fee for Otology is 700 EURO. The including cadaver dissection, lunch breaks, coffee and course dinner on Tuesday (Head & Neck and Rhinology) and on Thursday (Otology). The course fee for the Head and Neck Ultrasonography course is expected to be 300 EURO, but more information about the price and final program will be updated. Hotel fee is not included. The official language is English. The number of participants is limited to 30.
